Just a quick note on Brandon. We finally made it to his 9 month check-up a month late. He's up 3 1/2 lbs. since his last check-up in June. He now weighs 22 1/2 lbs. We didn't get the height this time, but he is definitely taller. He just barely fits on his changing table and he's gone up a clothes size to 18 months.
He's also been working on standing and walking. He can now stand for about 20 seconds before he falls over. He's great at walking while holding on to furniture or someone's hand. But he is cautious when he's on his own. He usually manages about 2 steps before he loses confidence and starts crawling.
Some of his favorite things these days are trying food from Mama & Dada's plates, swinging on the baby swing at the park, digging through his over-filled toy box, and being outside.
He also tried a Mom & Me swim class for the first time last week. He did great for the first ten minutes, then swallowed some water while attempting to blow bubbles. Needless to say things were not good after that and we had to leave about 5 minutes early because he couldn't stop crying. We're going back again today for another try though. This time, no bubbles!
